This photo was taken at the spill way of the Cibolo Creek on River Rd. It always amazes me that there are turtles everywhere sunning themselves on the spillway or on logs floating in the creek. I don't know where they all come from because they only come out at certain times of the day and then disappear. It would be interesting to do a study to learn how many generations there are. I'm sure that some are at least 20 years old, if not older.
