As far back as my memory goes, this flower has always been a sure sign that Spring has arrived. I dearly love this flower, and to make me happy, my husband mows around them, leaving clumps of Wild Verbena all over the yard.

This has always been one of my favorite Spring flowers, too. I can remember lining my Easter nest with these purple flowers because I was told the Easter bunny especially liked the color purple!
