Summer Color

I noticed the Crepe Myrtles in Meems last post, and I thought " Great Minds", because I had wanted to highlight Crepes in a post. Crepes come in so many colors and each is lovely in its own way. There are lavender, hot pink, pale pink, red and white. This is a lovely hot pink that grows in my yard. It is a tree Crepe. I also have a pretty red bush Crepe Myrtle as well. They give so much vibrant color to the yard for the summer and into the fall.
