This headstone is in Polly's Cemetery at Privilege Creek. The names and dates have been scratched off . I wonder who was placed beneath the stone, and who scratched off the names and why? The stone is different from most stones. It may have been crafted by the family of the deceased, as I have not seen one like this commercially produced. It is a beautiful mystery. And a little sad. I hope the family of this long dead person will replace the names so that his ( or her) memory is not lost forever.
