This statue of Jesus Christ stands in the middle of a family tombstone. It's in an old country cemetery in Pipe Creek, Texas that is about the most peaceful, serene place I have been in a long, long time. I've seen lots of tombstones and religious statues but this one with Jesus carrying His own cross just really touched me. You can see the sadness in his eyes.
