Lonely Little Cabin

This little log cabin is just sitting alone, below a hill on a country road about 8 miles from town...don't know if it's pump house, a tool shed or ?? It's not nearly big enough for living in, but I couldn't help but picture in my mind what it must have been like to live in a similar, but much larger log cabin with my parents and siblings. We would gather around a table with benches or stools for seating. The floor would be dirt and the old wood cook stove would have a pot of thick black coffee boiling and a big pot of red beans cooking in a kettle....and if it was my grandma's house, you can bet we'd have a big pan of cornbread, fresh churned butter and some sugar cane molasses...ummmmm!
