Amaryllis

I love this time of year when every thing is "bustin out all over" in blossom. A number of years ago, I was gifted with a basket of amaryllis for Christmas. When they finished blooming, I planted them in the yard. Now they bloom for me in the Spring. I placed my hand in the photo to give you an idea of the size of the blossom.

I know it has been a while since I posted, but the winter did not give me many photo ops. I hope the spring and summer are better to me and my camera. Check back in again soon.
