Lilly Surprise

These little beauties live in my yard. They were a gift from a dear lady who has since moved away. They are called Ox Blood Lillies. One day there is nothing there and the next there are blossoms. First they bloom and then the foliage appears. They are great naturalizers and I plan to move this whole group out to different areas so that they will add some surprise color to other areas of the yard. Spider Lillies will also suddenly appear just as these do. I also have some of those, and maybe I can get a shot of them next time they bloom.
