Growing Up
In one of my earlier posts, I shared a photo of two fawns that were born in the far corner of our back yard. They are now older, grazing on grass and eating vegetable peels that we saved for them. They play all day long and run back and forth across the yard while their mothers sit under the trees and watch them. This little guy followed his mom up to the back porch tonight to get a drink of fresh water from the bucket we keep filled for them. He tries to be brave, but the least little noise or movement frightens him and he is gone in a flash - white tail flying in the air. It's been great fun watching them grow and develope.
