As I was leaving the house I noticed these doves sitting closely together on top of my leafless arbor. I grabbed the camera and got a couple of shots from inside the house. I then walked to the front of the birds and took a shot, took a couple of steps and then took another shot. I kept moving closer until they finally became agitated. I am not sure what kind they are, but I was thinking maybe young Turtle Doves. I did not see a ring, but they are quite large and very silver on the breast area. Tex, I know you have access to a lot of information, so if you figure it out, post it in comments so we will all know.

Those are doves, but not Turtle Doves. I'm pretty sure they are Mourning Doves. The one on the left looks like a juvenile (squab), but it's hard to tell.

They both appeared to be juvenile to me and approximately the same age. But the color and size confused me. I am not very knowlegible about doves.
They are Inca Doves or Spanish Doves. They are found a differant spices than the Mourning Dove and are the smallest dove.
